Artists & Illustrators is proud to announce the return of the British Art Prize, a major art competition open to artists of all levels working in all styles and media. The British Art Prize 2022 offers artists an unprecedented level of national exposure across three major magazine brands and the chance to sell their artworks to almost 1,000,000 art lovers and collectors. All shortlisted artworks will be exhibited at a leading London gallery in November 2022. Shortlisted artists will be invited to an opening evening reception alongside artists, collectors and other VIP guests. Everyone who enters will receive a +1 invitation to the exhibition too.

Eligibility: All ages, everyone and anyone can enter.

Welcome to the International FiKVA Award for painters 2022!
The International FiKVA Award for painters 2022 is a global online competition, open to all artists age 18 or older, worldwide. Enter the paintings produced the last two years you are most proud of and you could win up to €5000 in cash and other prizes!
The FiKVA Award welcomes entries in all genres: hyperrealism, photorealism, classical and modern realism, surrealism and imaginative realism – as long as the artwork reads as representational and not stylized or abstract.

5. Open call for the International Creator Residency Program 2023

“International Creator Residency Program” aims to invite distinguished and highly motivated international creators in the field of visual art, film, design, architecture, and to give opportunities to work in Tokyo.
For the “International Creator Residency Program (Individual Projects),” we offer accommodation and shared studios as well as financial support to allow creators to develop and present new works and ideas in Tokyo.
The open-call program “International Creator Residency Program (Theme Projects)” for the period from May to July 2023, invites two international creators who would engage in creative activities based on the theme “Ecology around the City.” Together with two creators of “Local Creator Residency Program”, the 4 creators who work on the theme will seek to actively exchange ideas on the cultural differences in thoughts, recognitions, actions and languages, while working independently on their own projects.
The result of their residency will be presented at the Open Studio and Result Presentation Exhibition.
