How It All Started
The idea behind The Big Book of Tiny Creatives began in 2025, when we at Arts to Hearts Project thought about something that felt very simple, yet very important: young artists and young minds deserve a publication of their own.
They deserve a space where they can come together in one beautiful hardcover art book, be seen, be celebrated, and have their work featured alongside other young creatives from anywhere in the world. Just as adult artists have opportunities to be published, showcased, and introduced to new audiences, we felt that our youngest artists deserved that same experience.
More than that, we wanted to create a separate edition dedicated entirely to them, a book that celebrated the creativity of little minds and little hands, without placing it alongside the work of adults or treating it as an afterthought. A space that was theirs, and theirs alone.
And that idea gave birth to the very first edition of The Big Book of Tiny Creatives.
The response was more than we could have hoped for. We saw so much love, excitement, creativity, and passion from our tiny creatives and their families that creating another edition felt like the most natural thing to do. So, later that same year, we brought out Edition 2.
And now, in 2026, we are here with our third edition.
The thought behind it remains the same, and so does the love. We are still here to celebrate young artists for exactly who they are today, their curiosity, their imagination, their ideas, and the wonderful freedom with which they create. Every edition feels like another little time capsule of the young creative minds growing up around us.
And maybe, someday, one of these tiny creatives will become a name we recognize in galleries, museums, exhibitions, and collections around the world. Perhaps years from now, we will have the honor of looking back at these pages and knowing that we were among the first to feature the stars of tomorrow.
For now, we are simply happy to give them a book of their own.
The World Through Young Eyes
At the heart of The Big Book of Tiny Creatives – Edition 3 is a simple idea: the world looks different through young eyes.
Before children learn what art is supposed to look like, they simply create. They paint what they remember, imagine what they cannot see, turn feelings into color, and tell stories in ways that belong entirely to them. The World Through Young Eyes celebrates this freedom, the instinct to create not to impress, but to explore, remember, imagine, and make sense of the world.
Every page in this edition offers a small window into that world. It is colorful, curious, unexpected, and wonderfully honest. These are not just paintings and drawings; they are glimpses into how young minds observe and experience everything around them.

The Colorful World of Laurent Schwarz – Cover Artist
At just four years old, Laurent is already the cover artist of The Big Book of Tiny Creatives Edition 3, a little artist with a very big imagination. He loves painting, listening to music, discovering new places, visiting museums, and, of course, dinosaurs. What makes his story so special is how naturally painting seems to fit into his world. He doesn’t approach a blank canvas with a plan or worry about what is “right” or “wrong.” He simply begins and lets the painting become whatever it wants to be. Even his favorite color, red, is something he connects with because it feels “strong, lively, and full of energy,” which feels like such a perfect reflection of the way he creates.
His answers throughout the interview give us a glimpse into a child who is endlessly curious and completely open to imagination. He calls his paintbrushes his “little helpers,” loves the idea of his paintings going on adventures, and says that when he grows up, he hopes he never stops being curious, discovering new ideas, and creating something from them. There is something beautiful about that simplicity. Laurent reminds us that art does not always need to begin with an explanation, it can begin with curiosity, play, and the freedom to see what happens. And perhaps that is exactly what makes his work such a fitting choice for the cover: it invites us into a world where anything can happen.
Meet Our Tiny Creatives
Little Angels
Ages 2–6
The youngest artists in our book see the world with a kind of wonder that is impossible to teach. Little Angels brings together the imaginative works of children aged 2 to 6, where colors are bold, ideas are wonderfully unexpected, and every little creation carries a story of its own. This section celebrates their first steps into the world of art, giving their curiosity and creativity a space to be seen, appreciated, and remembered.
Junior Artists
Ages 7–12
At this age, curiosity begins to turn into intention. Junior Artists features the work of children aged 7 to 12 as they explore different ideas, subjects, materials, and ways of expressing themselves. Their pages show us how young artists begin to develop their own visual language while still holding on to the freedom and joy of simply creating. Here, every artwork is a glimpse into a growing imagination.
Teen Visionaries
Ages 13–18
The teenage years bring a new depth to the way we see the world, and that is beautifully reflected in the work of our Teen Visionaries. Featuring artists aged 13 to 18, this section brings together young voices that are beginning to explore identity, emotions, society, dreams, and the world around them through art. Their work reminds us that young people do not simply imagine the future; they already have their own perspectives on it, and they deserve a space to share them.
