The theme of Arts to Hearts Magazine Issue 3

This summer, the Arts to Hearts Project is making a call for art that celebrates the vibrancy of color and joyousness of fun in contemporary art. The theme of this call for art for Issue 3 of Arts to Hearts Magazine is

“Bold and Bright: The summer Issue- Exploring the Use of Color & fun in Contemporary Art”.

All women artists working in any medium are invited to submit their artwork for this special issue – from painting and sculpture to illustration, textiles, craftworks, digital art, and more.

This issue will explore how color can be used to create power, energy, and emotion – from bright, bold hues to subtle gradients of pastels. It will also explore the use of ‘fun’ as a creative strategy – whether through humor or playfulness or simply randomness – as a way to challenge viewers’ preconceived ideas and expand the boundaries of artistic expression.

The Arts to Hearts Magazine Bold & Bright Summer Issue will showcase the creativity of women artists from around the world who are pushing boundaries with color and fun in their art. So, if you’re interested in taking part and helping us bring together an inspiring collection of artworks, then don’t delay – join us today!

Eligible Artists

Women Artists of all academic disciples are welcome to apply. This includes painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and performance art. Works must be submitted in a printable format. High res images.
