After earning a BDes (Hons) in Illustration and a minor in Creative Writing from the Ontario College of Art & Design University (OCADU), she developed an illustration style that moves with ease between editorial projects, commercial work, contemporary pieces, and children’s literature.Sabahat works mainly with digital tools, but her art never feels overly polished or distant. 

She layers textures into her pieces, giving them a depth and tactile quality that nods to traditional methods while fully embracing the possibilities of digital media.  This distinct blend of approach and style has placed her among the best digital artists redefining how illustration can feel in today’s world. Her portfolio reflects her range lighthearted and whimsical at times, thoughtful and intricate at others  always with a sense of personality woven through. Based in Vancouver with a background in industrial design, Sumantry navigates the in-between spaces of technology, identity, and the unconscious. Her work plays like a dream half-remembered: layered, luminous, and haunting. Whether animating speculative worlds or sculpting emotion through 3D modeling, she invites viewers into digital realms where softness and sci-fi, vulnerability and virtuality coexist. She is one of the most amazing digital artists working today, known for her ability to fuse emotional depth with technological experimentation.

Refusing to be defined by a single medium, Carmilla’s practice spans animation, creative direction, and immersive installation. Her visual language is rich with irony and introspection—often exploring existential questions through surreal visuals and interactive experiences. She has exhibited internationally, with her works appearing everywhere from Times Square to gallery walls in London, Bangkok, and Toronto, where she was selected for the prestigious Emerging Digital Artists Award at Gallery TPW. She is also the co-founder and art director of Chroma Link Collective, a group devoted to pushing boundaries in web 3 art and tech-driven storytelling.
