About the Award

Established in 2023, the Woman Artist Award is a global contemporary art prize dedicated to discovering and uplifting emerging and mid-career women artists worldwide.
Now in its third year and fifth edition, it stands as a growing force within the international art landscape one that continues to shine a light on the voices that deserve to be heard.

In its previous editions, the Award has already published the work of over 200 women artists in the Women Artists on the Rise books giving their art visibility that extended far beyond the studio walls. Alongside global recognition, the project has distributed over $10,000 USD in prizes, features, and mentorship opportunities.
