Only 3 Days Left to Submit for Studio Visit Book Vol. 7: Home

Some opportunities don’t arrive quietly, they come with a purpose, reminding you that your art, your story, and your space matter more than you think. For artists, the world can sometimes feel full of closed doors and quiet rooms where your voice doesn’t quite carry. But every so often, something shifts. A door opens. The light falls in your direction.

And this is one of those moments.

Since 2023, Studio Visit Book has stepped into more than 500 creative spaces, places filled with light, colour, sound, and stories. We’ve seen studios where the morning sun paints the walls, tables covered in years of work, and corners where new ideas quietly wait to begin. Every artist we’ve met has reminded us that creativity doesn’t need perfection just presence. Now, as we prepare for Volume 7, we turn our focus to the one place every artist begins and returns to: Home.

And you have only 3 days left to show us yours.

The Theme: Home

Home isn’t a house or a street address. It’s where your art takes its first breath. It might be:
a kitchen table marked by colour and coffee, a tent glowing softly under the stars, a corner desk lit by a small lamp, a garage alive with tools and music, a suitcase studio that moves wherever you do.

Home is that moment when the noise fades and it’s just you, your tools, and the work. It’s where you argue with a painting, fall in love with a sketch, or rebuild yourself one piece at a time. It’s where creation feels most human.

And that’s what we want to see not the perfect setup, but the real one. The one where your art truly lives.

You have three days to show the world where your creativity begins.

Why This Theme Matters

Your space speaks before you ever say a word. It holds the rhythm of your days the scent of paint or clay, the hum of music, the signs of effort and persistence. It might be messy or quiet, small or shared, steady or always changing. Whatever it looks like, it carries your story.

That’s why Studio Visit Book Vol. 7 is dedicated to capturing the honest beauty of artists’ spaces around the world. From every discipline, every background, and every stage of the journey these places come together like a constellation of creative homes, glowing with individuality and truth.
