Announcing Our 100 Little Artists Selected for The Big Book of Tiny Creatives: Second Edition

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” Pablo Picasso

After months of anticipation, countless submissions, and an extraordinary outpouring of imagination from children and teens across the globe, we are delighted to announce the list of our little artists selected for The Big Book of Tiny Creatives: Second Edition. What began as a call to celebrate the creativity of young minds has blossomed into a truly inspiring project, one that showcases just how limitless and powerful children’s imaginations can be.

This edition offered something truly rare and valuable: complete creative freedom. Young artists, ages 2 to 18, were invited to submit work in any style, medium, or subject matter of their choosing. There were no rules, no guidelines, and no restrictions only the opportunity to create and share pieces that best expressed their individuality, vision, and joy in making art. For many, this was a chance to share their art publicly for the very first time; for others, it was a way to experiment boldly and push themselves into new creative directions.

The Result? A Collection That Took Our Breath Away

The submissions we received spoke volumes about the depth and diversity of creativity within young people. From vibrant crayon doodles filled with a sense of wonder, to carefully painted scenes full of detail and imagination, to striking teen artworks that stretched the boundaries of what we expect from youth art, each piece surprised and moved us in its own way. We also saw playful sculptures, innovative mixed media, thoughtful photographs, and digital creations that sparkled with originality.

Every work carried with it a unique heartbeat. Each one was more than just an artwork on a page; it was a glimpse into a young creator’s world their stories, their dreams, their perspectives, and their boundless courage to put their imagination into form. Taken together, these submissions remind us of the joy, honesty, and truth that children and teens so naturally bring into their creative process. They remind us of that creativity at a young age is not just about making art it’s about expressing identity, emotion, and wonder in ways words often cannot.

Celebrating Creativity Without Limits

When we opened this call, our goal was simple yet powerful: to create space that celebrated every kind of creative voice. By keeping the theme wide open, we wanted to give every participant, whether they were two or eighteen, the chance to show us the work that felt most like them. The response was overwhelming, and the results were breathtaking.

  • Our Tiny Makers (ages 2–6) shared whimsical, joyful works bursting with curiosity and charm. Their submissions reminded us of the uninhibited playfulness that lies at the heart of creativity.
  • Our Young Innovators (ages 7–12) dazzled us with experiments in bold colors, clever compositions, and fearless storytelling. Their ability to express ideas through shapes, textures, and layers of imagination amazed us at every turn.
  • Our Rising Artists (ages 13–18) revealed maturity, depth, and innovation far beyond their years. Their works showed confidence, skill, and vision proving that the next generation of artists is already shaping the future of creativity.

Taken together, these three groups represent not just stages of growth, but the beautiful continuum of creativity across childhood and adolescence. This year’s Big Book of Tiny Creatives has become a joyful, global celebration of imagination, courage, and the extraordinary voices of young artists everywhere.

A Note of Gratitude to All Little Creatives & Their Parents

To every child and teen who submitted their work, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your creativity was seen, your story was heard, and your courage to share it with the world is truly cherished. It takes bravery to create and even greater bravery to share your creations, and each of you demonstrated that courage through your submissions.

Every single piece contributed something special to the richness of this project, and together they form a collection that is both inspiring and unforgettable. This is why we created The Big Book of Tiny Creatives to preserve, celebrate, and honour the magic of childhood imagination. It is a keepsake for families, a stage for young voices, and a reminder that creativity knows no age or boundary.

This year has once again proven that when young artists are given the freedom to create without limits, the results are extraordinary. Their works have the power to surprise, to challenge expectations, and most of all, to inspire us all to see the world with fresher, more imaginative eyes.
