Artist Bio

I paint flowers so they will not die – Freida Khalo

Roshni is a Watercolour artist based out of Mumbai, India.
With a life long love for visual arts, Roshni has grown from a fashion design student at NIFT Gandhinagar, to balancing her role as mother for her special needs child and creating art that is inspired by the surreal and sublime sensuality of nature.

How does the theme ‘Biosphere’ play a role in your work?

Most of my art is inspired by the bio diverse nature that surrounds us. I connect deeply with the flora and fauna which has awakened and nurtured my creative spark. I’m continually inspired by the places I have live in or visited and the spectacular natural beauty that surrounds me.
