And while getting published in a high-end print ATH Issue 10 magazine is already a dream come true, what really makes this open call stand out are the generous prizes designed to reward and elevate exceptional talent.

This isn’t just about exposure, it’s about giving artists tangible support, recognition, and real career-building tools.
Let’s break it down.
What Is the ATH Issue 10?
The ATH Issue 10 is an international art publication dedicated to spotlighting women artists from around the globe. Since it began, it has showcased over 400 artists and become a well-respected visual arts platform.
Each edition is not just a collection of artwork, it’s an editorial journey. You’ll find features, interviews, and stories from emerging, mid-career, and professional artists. The magazine reaches art collectors, galleries, curators, and art lovers through global distribution networks, including Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and more.
Now we are gearing up for Issue 10, and the theme is deeply personal: “Home.”

Why These Prizes Matter
Let’s talk about what these prizes actually do for you as an artist, because they’re not just fancy titles and cash. They open doors.
The Cash Prizes
Let’s be honest, making and sharing art costs money. Whether you’re buying supplies, upgrading equipment, shipping pieces for exhibitions, or paying studio rent, these cash prizes are practical support for your practice. They can help fund your next project or even give you breathing room to focus on your craft.
The Magazine Feature
A two-page spread in an internationally sold ATH Issue 10 magazine is serious exposure. It puts your work in front of:
- Art collectors and curators
- Gallery directors
- Art lovers from all around the world
And this isn’t a throwaway publication, it’s beautifully produced, collectible, and sold by major retailers. Being featured adds real value to your CV, boosts your visibility, and builds credibility in a competitive art world.
The Trophies & Certificates
Tangible rewards like trophies and certificates might sound simple, but they’re powerful symbols of recognition. They’re affirmations of your talent, something you can display, showcase in your portfolio, or even use when applying for grants, residencies, and exhibitions. They say: You’ve been seen. You’ve been chosen.
The “Why” Behind the Prizes
So many women artists are doing incredible work, but they’re still not getting the recognition they deserve. The galleries, the headlines, the big opportunities? They’re still often tilted toward the same kinds of names and networks. And that’s exactly what Arts to Hearts Project is working to change.
The prizes in this open call aren’t just shiny rewards or nice extras, they’re part of a bigger mission: to uplift and spotlight women artists in a meaningful way. That means real cash support to help you keep creating. That means crystal trophies that aren’t just pretty, they’re proof that your work stood out. And that means a full two-page ATH Issue 10 magazine feature that tells the world: This artist matters.
Because honestly, it’s not just about being included. It’s about being celebrated, loudly, proudly, and publicly. When you win one of these prizes, it’s not just a “congrats”, it’s a statement. A statement that your voice, your art, and your perspective deserve to take up space in the global art scene.
That’s why these prizes exist. Not to hand out participation ribbons. But to say: We see you. And we want everyone else to see you, too.

How the Jury Chooses the Winners
Now, I know submitting your work can feel a little nerve-wracking, like you’re just sending it off into the void and hoping someone gets it. But here’s the thing: at Arts to Hearts, the jury isn’t just randomly picking names out of a hat. Every single piece is looked at with care. And the judging isn’t just about what looks “trendy” or “popular.” It’s deeper than that.
So, what does the jury look for?
Originality
Originality, first and foremost. Is this work fresh? Does it feel like you, not like a copy of something that’s already been done a hundred times?
Conceptual Depth
Then there’s conceptual depth. It’s not just about making something pretty, it’s about saying something. Does the piece carry emotion, a message, or a story? Does it make the viewer feel something or think a little deeper?
Theme Work
They’re also looking at how well your work connects to the theme; this time, it’s all about “Home.” And that can mean anything, really. A place, a memory, a feeling, a person, or even a dream. But the key is: can the jury feel that connection when they look at your work?
Technical Skills
And of course, technical skill matters too. That doesn’t mean you need to have perfect lines or be hyper-realistic. It just means your piece shows thought, effort, and craft, whatever that looks like in your medium.
The goal here isn’t perfection. The goal is honest, thoughtful, powerful work. And the jury is here to find that, not to judge you based on fame or followers. So when you submit, know this: your art is going to be seen. Carefully. Respectfully. And with an open mind.
