The Woman Artist Award is here to celebrate exactly that the power, passion, and persistence of women artists who dare to share their voices with the world.

Presented by the Arts to Hearts Project, this prestigious international art prize is dedicated to discovering, recognizing, and supporting emerging and mid-career women artists worldwide. Established in 2023, the Award has quickly become a cornerstone in the contemporary art world, offering women artists a platform that elevates their work far beyond traditional gallery walls.

A Platform That Creates Opportunities

In its first two editions, the Woman Artist Award has celebrated and published the work of more than 200 women artists from across the globe in the acclaimed Women Artists On The Rise book series. These books, along with expansive promotional campaigns, have provided international visibility, opened doors to new collaborations, and created lasting recognition for participants.

To date, the Award has distributed over USD 10,000 in cash prizes and professional support, affirming its commitment to not just recognizing artists but actively investing in their long-term growth and success.

This edition offers a thoughtfully designed package of financial support, professional recognition, and long-term visibility.

First Prize Winner

The first winner will receive a US $1000 cash award to invest in their artistic practice, along with a bespoke engraved glass trophy in a velvet case and a certificate. Their work will be celebrated with a full-length interview feature in Arts to Hearts’ premium hardcover coffee table book and an extensive interview published on the Arts to Hearts website, promoted across Instagram to over 125,000 art enthusiasts. Additionally, the winner will enjoy a year-long portfolio feature in the Women in Arts Network (valued at $196) and a one-year subscription to the Arts to Hearts Print + Digital Magazine.

1st Runner-Up

The first runner-up will receive an Exclusive Engraved Glass Trophy with a certificate, along with an interview feature on the Arts to Hearts website and dedicated promotion across social media. They will also enjoy a year-long portfolio feature in the Women in Arts Network and a one-year subscription to the Arts to Hearts Print + Digital Magazine.

2nd Runner-Up

The second runner-up will be awarded a Custom Engraved Glass Trophy with a certificate, along with an interview feature promoted online. They will also receive a six-month portfolio feature in the Women in Arts Network and a one-year subscription to the Arts to Hearts Digital Magazine.

Beyond these awards, all finalists benefit from publication, visibility, and the opportunity to join a global community of women artists united by creativity and vision.

We chose to keep the theme open to all mediums and without a specific subject because we believe every artist has a unique story to tell and a distinct way of seeing the world. This approach gives you the freedom to present the work that best represents your vision and current practice whether it is deeply personal, boldly political, or purely experimental.

From painting, sculpture, and photography to performance, installation, video, digital art, and textiles every form of creative expression is welcome. By keeping the theme open, we aim to create a space where diverse voices and perspectives can come together and form a true reflection of the evolving landscape of contemporary art.

Who Can Apply

The Award is open to all women artists worldwide, aged 18 and above, regardless of country, background, or culture. Submissions are welcome from emerging and mid-career artists working in any field of contemporary art. There are no geographical or stylistic restrictions — artists may submit work in any subject, style, or medium, as long as it is original and created by them.

To apply, simply visit the Arts to Hearts Project website and access the submission form. Fill in your details carefully, ensuring that your name, email, and other information are accurate. Upload your artworks including artworks that may have already been sold, as long as they are your original creations. Finally, complete the payment process and submit your application to be considered for this prestigious award.
