1- ATH Magazine Issue #2

Arts To Hearts Magazine is a contemporary art publication with a mission to discover, connect, and engage with contemporary & emerging women artists from around the world.

3- Tenuous Threads

Atlantic Gallery, located in the historic Landmark Arts Building in Chelsea NYC, invites artists to submit work for the upcoming juried show, Tenuous Threads. All of life is connected through networks, systems, fibers, and webs. Communication (visual, verbal, electrical, chemical, and kinetic) enables an exchange of information among all life forms.

Tenuous Threads alludes to the delicate lines that bring us together and set us apart; that join us yet repels us. We are seeking innovative artworks that utilize textiles, fibers, and threads (natural and synthetic) in sculpture, collage, 3D, and 2D mixed media that communicates the strength and fragility of what binds all life. The juror, Patricia Miranda, will award one artist a grand prize of a one-week solo show at Atlantic Gallery at a future date.

4- 13th Annual “Botanicals” Online Art Competition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 13th Annual “Botanicals” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of December 2022. The gallery invites all 2D and 3D from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s January 2023 online group art exhibition.

The gallery invites entries from artists (including photography & digital art) regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best representational or abstract, botanical, and/or floral art. Botanical subjects include flowers, herbs, fruit, leaves, plants, and related botanical and floral subjects.

5- The Pink Bison Prize

The Pink Bison Prize goes to the artist with the most exceptional artwork posted on Altamira. art. Juried by 10 internationally acclaimed art critics and artists, the winner will receive $5,000 in cash and the illustrious Pink Bison trophy. Participation is open and free to any artist who works in any medium from anywhere in the world.

In the spirit of democratizing art, finalists are selected via a voting process open to all artists, critics, and collectors on Altamira. The 10 artists with the most total votes across all of their works on Altamira in the previous year (12/31/21 – 12/31/22) and the 10 artists with the most votes on an individual work will be selected as finalists. After 20 finalists are chosen, the award will be presented to the winner in an online ceremony that is broadcast internationally.
