Two International Opportunities for Artists Worldwide to Apply

There’s something about the end of the year that makes us pause, isn’t there?
Somewhere between the last deadlines, the quiet winter evenings, and the urge to start fresh, we begin to look at our creative journey a little differently. We look at the sketches piled on our tables, the unfinished ideas waiting in our notebooks, the artworks that carry parts of us and we wonder, “Is it time to finally share this?”

For artists, that question is everything. Because creating is intimate but showing your work to the world that requires courage. No matter who you are, where you come from, or what medium moves through your hands, that hesitation is universal.
And yet… there’s also a spark. A spark that says your art deserves more than storage boxes, private folders, or quiet corners of your studio. A spark that reminds you that your voice, your vision, and your story deserve to travel to be seen, felt, and remembered.

Let This Be the Yes You Give Yourself Before the Year Ends
As the year slowly wraps itself into its final days, there’s a certain stillness that settles in. A moment where we look back at what we created, what we dreamed of creating, and what we held onto quietly, waiting for the “right time.” But here’s the truth we often forget:
The perfect time rarely arrives on its own. It’s something we choose.

These two opportunities, The Artist of the Year 2025 and the 101 Art Book Project – Food Edition aren’t just calls for submission. They’re end-of-year invitations. Invitations to close this chapter with courage. To enter the next one with intention. To give your art the chance it deserves today, not someday. We know how easy it is to doubt yourself. To question whether your work is “ready.” To wonder if you’re “enough.” And to wait again for the stars to align. But as one year ends and another begins, there is no better reminder that growth doesn’t come from waiting. It comes from stepping forward. From trusting your voice. From saying yes to yourself before you feel completely prepared.

Submitting your work isn’t just about being featured in a book or celebrated with a prize.
It’s about choosing yourself. Choosing your story. Choosing your art. Both of these calls are open invitations to be part of a global creative community to share your work with curators, collectors, and audiences who are ready to see you.
Because your art matters. Your journey matters. You matter. As we close the year and look toward what comes next, the question isn’t whether you’re ready.
The question is
Are you ready to say yes to yourself before the year ends?
