 About The Project
The Big Book of Tiny Creatives

The Big Book of Tiny Creatives is a project born from a deep belief in the value of children’s creativity. At its heart, it is an invitation to pause, to notice, and to honor the way young people see and shape the world through their art.

This initiative began with a simple but powerful question. What if we gave children the same kind of platform we give adult artists? What if we treated their work not as something cute or passing, but as something worth preserving, sharing, and celebrating?

With submissions from children and teens ages 2 to 18, the project brings together over 200 artworks from across the globe. These pieces range from wild, free scribbles to thoughtful, detailed compositions. But more than technique or polish, what we saw in every submission was honesty. Each artwork told a story. Each page held a feeling. And every child, no matter their age or ability, had something real to say.

The project doesn’t stop at the finished artwork. It values the creative process, the decision to pick up a pencil, the quiet time spent drawing, the burst of colour, the erased lines, the proud presentation of a completed piece. These are the moments that shape us, long before we call ourselves artists.

The Big Book of Tiny Creatives exists to document those moments. To preserve the joy, the vulnerability, and the truth that lives in childhood art. To show that even the smallest voices carry meaning, and that creativity is not something we grow into, but something we are born with.

Created by the Arts to Hearts Project, this book is part of a larger vision. To create spaces where all artists are seen and supported, regardless of age, experience, or background. With this edition, we turn our focus to the very beginning of the creative journey, and we do so with pride, care, and an open heart.

This is more than a book. It is a record. A keepsake. A tribute. And a quiet reminder that every artist was once a child, and every child is already an artist.

Exhibition Note
The World Through Little Eyes
A Virtual Exhibition from The Big Book of Tiny Creatives

The World Through Little Eyes invites us to step gently into a world where imagination knows no limits and every line, shape, and color tells a story. This exhibition celebrates the vision of young creators whose works remind us of what it means to see life with curiosity, honesty, and unfiltered wonder.

Children create with a freedom that many of us lose as we grow older. They are unafraid of bold colors, unapologetic in their choices, and fearless in their expression. A sky may be green, a sun may be blue, and the impossible suddenly feels possible when seen through their eyes. In every crayon stroke and splash of paint lies a truth — that creativity at its purest is not about perfection, but about joy, discovery, and the courage to dream.

The works gathered here are not just artworks; they are fragments of childhood itself. They carry the laughter of play, the tenderness of small moments, and the energy of young spirits still learning the world but already shaping it through their vision. Some pieces radiate light and innocence, while others carry surprising depth, reflecting feelings that transcend age. Together, they form a tapestry of stories, woven from the boundless creativity that flourishes in the earliest years of life.

This exhibition asks us to slow down and remember. To recall our own childhoods, when imagination was endless and possibility was everywhere. It is a gentle reminder that wonder is not something we leave behind, but something we can choose to carry with us.

Through their little eyes, we rediscover our own and the world feels new again.
