Ep 46. Embracing Transitions: Financial Independence, Isolation & Getting Back Into The Arts As A Mother

I n the 45th episode of the Arts to Hearts podcast, our host Charuka Arora is in a conversation with Shachi Kale. An Indian artist based out of the Arizona in the U.S.

In this episode, Shachi shares the various life transitions she had to go through in her life. The major being moving to the U.S 20 years ago with her husband.

She shared her story of dreaming of living a creative life in California to being led to the isolated deserts of Arizona.

Shachi went through her journey of living as a successful and super ambitious woman in Bombay, India. To literally starting her life from scratch in the U.S.

How she went from a financially independent professional to a dependent spouse in the U.S.

Shachi was kind and humble enough to share not only the bright and beautiful but also the hard parts of her journey of motherhood.

How she experienced extreme isolation and lived exhausted, isolated and tired years of mothering her children while her husband was making a living.

In this conversation, they spoke about the Indian family mindsets, the struggle a woman goes through and so much more.
